MathHello, and welcome to our 5th grade Math resource page! I'm Mrs. Pierce, and I am so excited to be teaching the 5th grade Math! Math has always been one of my favorite subjects. And if that's not the case for your child, that's okay! Our fifth graders will be making lots of real-world applications this year to help make math come more alive. I will be updating this page frequently with information about our math class, important dates, and resources for additional at-home math practice.

As a reminder, you should be spending 20 minutes minimum per night practicing your Math skills. While this is a large document that has lots of information, remember that this is an entire-year review. Each night during your 20 minute practice, you should only be focusing on one or two, maybe three, skills. This is meant to be a comprehensive review for you. Remember to solve all of the IXL practice problems on loose leaf notebook paper (not in your math journal) and turn this in on Friday along with your log.

Each Friday, you must submit an IXL Homework Log, along with your problems solved out on loose leaf notebook paper. If you've misplaced your IXL Homework log that is due each Friday, you may find a new one here.
